WEEK 6: The influence of Christian Art

Base on the research, during Christian era had been shown that most of their art was considerably as a sacred art produced in an attempt to illustrate, supplement and portray in form the principles of Christianity. Most of Christian groups have used art to some extent.  The Images of Jesus and narrative scenes from the Life of Christ are their most common subjects in art. Their style as well as their techniques used should also base on the bible scriptures.  The design factor of their artwork should inspire and educate people in its meaning.
During this era the work of arts are relevant to a kind of spiritually inspired art.  Artists of this period have been recognized to the realism in images of their sculptures. When it come to their architectural design like their churches were great and had dominant features. Numerous churches scattered across the Christian world, one of the famous is Basilica di San Pietro, Rome. A basilica is a designation for an important church building. A basilica is designated by the pope this is the highest permanent designation for a church building.
For me their predominant styles and subject matter of this era had a huge impact on the history of Christian art. Their excellent and creative geniuses in their divinely work of arts were inspired the principle of being a Christian.
As an amateur illustrator or artists I always inspired  and I  have a challenges to  create arts  to show how I can express the clearer view of what is on my mind.
Yes It is true that I can find some techniques  by looking at the style of other artists, but  as much as I can , I want  my art creation shall  base  on my own style. I admit also that all we've learned from different eras would be a great helped for us to make more attractive arts. Like art in the Christian era, it does really have a great influence in my personal style in creating designs and artworks.  I greatly appreciate the beauty of their arts.  I can surely use their style and technique in my future work of arts.
